For decades, Kenny Isaacs has poured his talent, work ethic, and heart into every company he touched. As the proud owner and founder of Ken Isaacs Inc., Kenny built a reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and leadership. His work has shaped countless projects, but even more importantly, it has shaped the people who had the privilege to work alongside him.
His journey continued when he partnered with Mike to co-found Surfaces Company LLC, bringing his experience, steady guidance, and genuine passion for the work into a new venture. From the very beginning, Kenny’s influence helped shape the company’s direction, culture, and values.
While he has moved on from ownership at Surfaces Company LLC, Kenny remains an essential part of the team, now serving as a project manager. His knowledge, reliability, and leadership continue to strengthen the company every day, and his presence is a constant reminder of the foundation he helped build.
Throughout his career, Kenny has partnered with notable organizations such as Denham & Blythe, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Gray Construction, Meyer Midwest, Omni Commercial Construction, and D.H. Elliott. His work has taken him across the country, completing projects in 43 out of the 50 U.S. states, stretching from California to Kentucky and nearly everywhere in between.
Before establishing his career in construction, Kenny’s first love was music, especially bluegrass and country. A lifelong singer, he spent many years performing alongside his close friend and musical partner, Charlie Louvin, with whom he shared countless stages and memories until Charlie’s passing in January 2011.
Blending the grit of construction with the soul of bluegrass, Kenny Isaacs is a true craftsman of buildings, relationships, and stories whose work and legacy span both the American landscape and its musical tradition.
